I was recently sent a complimentary package of six dessert bars. This six included two raw bars, two fruit bars and two brownies. I cut them into halves or thirds and shared them with my brother and husband this past weekend! We all loved each of the bars! My brother said the fudge brownie was one of the best brownies he had ever had, my husband told us he really loved the taste of the flax seed raw bar and my favorite was the lemon fruit bar (though it was tough to make a decision about my favorite). The brownies had the right amount of sweetness and had an amazing, chocolaty taste. I enjoyed them all and highly recommend this dessert company to others!
They offer such a tremendous variety of dessert options, it may almost be impossible to choose what to get! Everything looks so delectable. Athena's Silverland Desserts was founded in 1983 by Athena Uslander and Lisa Silverman with the start of their brownies, derived from an old family recipe. The company was then known as Silverland Brownies and operated out of a 400 square foot space in Elmwood Park, IL just off of Harlem Avenue. Silverland Desserts have been featured by Weight Watchers, the Food Network, the Travel Channel, USA Today, Oprah, and The Today Show, among numerous other features. Each of their products contains all natural ingredients.

To keep your bars fresh, freeze them immediately upon receipt for 24 hours. Once you remove from the refrigerator, wait about 10 to 15 minutes to thaw, then enjoy. They taste so delicious when they are chilled!
