I am hosting a giveaway for the Savannah Bee Company. One winner will win a sample pack of honey that includes tea honey, cheese honey and grill honey. U.S. entries only!

Savannah Bee Company, based in Savannah, Georgia, sells purely and naturally organic honey products in addition to a variety of beauty supplies. The company recently sent me a complimentary sampler to try of their delicious honey, which includes a honey for tea, a honey for grilling, and a honey to pair with cheeses for a cheese plate. 

I consider honey to be one of my staple foods. It is my secret ingredient when I am cooking and I have created numerous recipes using honey including poulty dishes, salads and desserts. I am more than happy to introduce the Savannah Bee Company to my readers. I love the idea of different types of honey for different cooking or dining purposes.

I paired the cheese honey, which has a soft sweet flavor, with sharp cheddar cheese and sliced apples. I served it as a dessert and my husband and I really enjoyed it. The next day, I added a half of a teaspoon of honey to my herbal tea, which complimented the flavor of the tea very nicely. It did not overpower the tea, rather it created a light harmony of flavors. For the grilling honey, my husband created a marinade for the chicken, which came out superb! The Savannah Bee Company offers a wide variety of honey, including specialty honey such as orange blossom honey and winter white honey. They also offer raw honeycomb and pure and raw wildflower honey. Their online shops offers bee gifts, including an All Honey Sample Set, and
honey recipes. They company also sells body care products or "food for your skin."
