Energy and Flavor of New Orleans Heats Up in Philly!

bourbon blue philadelphia

Discover an upbeat, elegant and all around fun restaurant in the heart of Manayunk, Philadelphia.  Bourbon Blue cooks up consistently flavorsome and scrumptious entrées that everyone can appreciate.  Located in a historic mill on a canal off Main Street, the restaurant evokes the charm and beauty of New Orleans' French Quarter.  The diverse menu sets the standard for an authentic taste of Bourbon flare.
The manager is friendly and knowledgeable, and the waitstaff and bartenders are genuine and personal; each staff member treats you like family.  The reasonably priced menu includes different specials each night range from half price snacks, Thursday's $30 Prix Fixe Menu and three appetizers for $3 each, all you can eat ribs and crab legs for $20, discounted drinks, and more.  Cornbread is served with your meal with an original butter spread made with honey and Cajun spices. Some of the dishes on the menu alter periodically as the chef invents new culinary creations.  The professional chef always reaches far beyond his potential with each meal.  Outstanding creations include Chesapeake Crab Cakes with baked asparagus lemon pepper rice, Blackened Tilapia with shrimp and sweet potato hash with a vanilla pecan butter sauce, Alligator Gumbo, and Pork Roulade served with mashed potatoes and spinach.  For lunch, they offer Po' Boy sandwiches, alligator quesadillas, salads, mussels, and more.  Their unbeatable desserts will take you to another dimension of temptation, such as their home-made baked chocolate brownie a la mode with chocolate ganache, caramel and chopped walnuts.  Additional choices for dessert include Bananas Foster, a Root beer Float, Vanilla Ice Cream and Creme Brulée.
Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday, live music is seven times a week, and private parties and events are available that facilitate as many as 200 guests.  Bring your party to Bourbon Blue and experience round after round of celebration with each savory bite!

  3. The Bourbon is one of my fave spots and their new menu is to die for! Last time I was there, I spied a deck being built so that will be great when it opens.
